The project involved the remediation of various roof envelopes around the main Category 1 Historic Places Trust building. To ensure that the school could continue operating, Palatine developed a scaffold and shrink-wrap solution that minimized disruptions to school activities. Asbestos removal from the old flat roof membranes was carried out under Class A and B conditions outside of school hours, adhering to Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements. New two-layer torch-applied membranes were installed, along with new copper internal gutters, copper-clad parapets, and lead-capped parapets. New timber framing and substrates were installed with upgrade falls to receive cladding
